About Krystal Diaz
Krystal Diaz, daughter of award-winning music producer and composer, Romeo Diaz, and niece of highly-acclaimed music performer, Danny Diaz, has been studying Speech Level Singing for over 6 years. She started her music career at the age of 8 when she sang for a television commercial. Since then she has performed extensively as a lead singer and background vocalist in both live shows and studio recordings. She is also a freelance writer, having written lyrics and voiceovers for commercials for over 7 years (clients include Cathay Pacific, Sun Hung Kai Properties, China Light and Power, City University of Hong Kong, to name but a few), as well as full-length songs that have been professionally recorded and released both commercially and non-commercially. She has had five picture books for children published and has written a 30-episode 3D animated TV series for young adults, which was aired in Hong Kong this summer on ATV.
She continues to have extensive vocal training under both Christine Samson and SLS Master Teacher, Dean Kaelin (vocal coach of David Archuleta, runner-up of American Idol 2008). She is currently undergoing the Speech Level Singing certification process and has been personally trained as a vocal instructor by Christine Samson.
